MaximaLocal’s Acceptable Usage Policy consists of the points below:

Anti Spam Policy

We do not permit the sending of unsolicited emails via our systems. Anyone that you email must have agreed to receive email from you as per the Opt-In Process at https://www.maximalocal.co.uk/terms If a complaint is received, Maxima Local reserves the right to determine whether the email is spam or not and Maxima Local reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the service in these instances.

Intellectual Property Violations

Undertaking or participating in any activity which infringes or violates the intellectual copyright of any individual, organisation or other entity. This may include, but is not limited to Copyrights, Trademarks and Patents.

Defamatory or Abusive Language

You may not use the Service to transmit or post harassing, defamatory, derogatory, abusive or threatening language or literature.

Distribution of Malware or Other Destructive Activities

The Distribution of Malware such as (but not limited to) Internet Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses or Other Destructive Activities. Also Phishing emails which intend to mislead people to provide sensitive data. Also Dedicated Denial of Service (DDOS) or similar activities intended to disrupt any type of computer network or system.

Facilitating any Violation of this AUP

The Advertising or transmission or any other attempt to promote the means to violate this Acceptable Usage Policy.

Other Illegal Activities

Participating in any activity that is considered to be illegal and which includes, but is not limited to credit card fraud schemes, illegal software, Phishing and pyramid schemes.

Other Activities

Engaging in any other activities which Maxima Local considers to be harmful to its clients, reputation, goodwill or customer relations.
